Man Utd go top of premiership

A second-half strike by Pogba was enough for Utd to beat Burnley and send them three points clear at the top of the premiership.

Utd boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said his side had to dig in but “Any time you get three points you are happy”.

Despite the defeat Burnley manager Sean Dyce was happy with his team’s performance against a top side.

Once again VAR played a part in the game ruling out a Harry McGuire goal for an infringement inside the box and late in the game McGuire escaped punishment when the referee deemed he did not handle the ball in the box.

Manchester United’s next game is away to Liverpool on Sunday.
