A 37-year-old Belarusian man who lives in Msida was hit by a motorcycle in Sliema Road in Gzira.
Police say the man riding the motorcycle was a Serbian nation living in Birkirkara.
The Belarusian man was taken to Mater Dei Hospital where his injuries were describes as serious.
The accident happened at around 11.30pm on Friday night.
