Four elderly people die after contracting Covid-19

The Ministry of Health has confirmed  that four elderly people died after testing positive for Covid-19.

In the first case, an 86-year-old woman, who was confirmed positive for Covid-19 on December 2, died yesterday at Mater Dei Hospital.

In the second case, a 76-year-old woman, who was confirmed positive for Covid-19 on December 12, died yesterday at Mater Dei Hospital.

In the third case, an 86-year-old woman who tested positive for Covid-19 on October 16, died tonight at Mater Dei Hospital.

In the fourth case, an 84-year-old man, who was confirmed positive for Covid-19 on December 16, died earlier today at Mater Dei Hospital.

The Ministry of Health, while offering its condolences to the relatives of the elderly, calls for everyone to remain vigilant and follow preventive measures even during these holidays.
