Two pensioners die after testing positive for Covid-19

Two pensioners died after testing positive for Covid-19 health authorities report.

In the first case, an 82-year-old man died at his private residence on November 8. The swab test, which was conducted after the person was found dead, confirmed positive for Covid-19.

In the second case, a 78-year-old man who died at Mater Dei Hospital on November 10 turned out to be positive for Covid-19 after he died.

The Ministry of Health offers its condolences to the families of the elderly and calls on everyone to follow the preventive measures, including wearing a mask, physical distance and hand washing.
