91-year-old woman passes away after contracting Covid-19

Ministry of Health has just been informed that a 91-year-old woman has died after contracting Covid-19.

The elderly woman tested positive for Covid19 on 26 August and was admitted to Mater Dei hospital on 6 September. She died at Mater Dei Hospital late last night.

She had further health conditions.

The Ministry of Health, while offering its condolences to the relatives of the elderly, calls on the people to continue to follow the appeals of the Department of Health, including frequent hand washing, id social distance and mask use.
