Police Environment Protection Unit identify persons who sprayed red arrows around island

Over the past days, officers from the Police Environmental Protection Unit (EPU) assisted by the Environmental and Resources Authority (ERA), were investigating reports of alleged vandalism related to multiple spray-painted red markings at the Majjistral Park, Comino and several other countryside areas.
Following investigations, the perpetrators of these markings were identified to be members from a French travel agency who are organising a sports challenge around Malta and Gozo. The organisers were ordered to clean all these markings by this Friday.
Police EPU and ERA officials, together with park rangers are monitoring the cleaning.
