Malta publishes an updated list of countries on the amber list

From Friday, 28 August 2020, at midnight, the list of countries on the coronavirus amber list will be revised.

Any person arriving in Malta from the countries mentioned below must submit a certificate showing a negative result of a COVID-19 Polymerase Chain Reaction test performed up to 72 hours before the flight. Passengers who fail to present this certificate may be subjected to a swab test at Malta International Airport and may be required to be quarantined.

The countries on the revised list are;

Bulgaria;

Romania;

The Czech Republic

Spain – Barcelona, Girona, Madrid;

Tunisia.
