I have nothing to do with my brother’s operation: Principal Permanent Secretary

Principal Permanent Secretary Mario Cutajar issued a statement on Sunday afternoon.

“I have nothing to do with, nor have the slightest idea of my brother’s operation. I have always been responsible in my actions both privately and in my professional life, and my brother has walked his own road in the most independent of manners.

“I had nothing to do with, nor was I consulted over, his role in Beijing and later in Shanghai,” he said.

Aldo Cutajar, the brother of Mario Cutajar, has been arrested on money laundering charges after police found €500,000 in cash at his home and more than $300,000 in an account in his name in Dubai.
