President Marie Louise Coliero Preca was joined by Prime Minister Joseph Muscat and Opposition Leader Simon Busuttil in a wreath laying ceremoney at the War Memorial in Florina.
Detachments of the Armed Forces of Malta, the Police, the Civil Protection Department and ex-servicemen formed a guard of honour.
