Speaking to journalists on Tuesday morning Labour’s Deputy Leader Chris Cardonna said the Budget was a clear signal that the government was in favour of a more just society.
He said it was the most social budget to be presented in 25 years.
Monday’s Budget he said not only benefitted low income earners but also helped to create more jobs.
Minister Cardonna poured scorn on the Opposition’s leaders reaction to the budget saying he were detatched from reality and was insensitive to the measures announced in the Budget.
