Gas tanker monument to corruption says Simon Busuttil

Opposition leader Simon Busuttil has described the LNG gas tanker as “a monument to corruption.”

He slammed the government over the new power station saying the government had lied over it’s promise to introduce gas energy and reduce tarrifs. It should have happened within two years of the election he said.

Busuttil also said that the gas tanker would endanger residents near the power station.

The BWSC heavy oil power station and the Scicly-Malta interconnector were testemonts to the Nationalist government.

Simon Busuttil claimed that recent press reports about Beppe Fenech Adami and money laundering was just a smoke-stream to deflect people’s attention from the LNG tanker at B’Bugia.
