An Air Malta aircraft suffered a bird strike in Malta on Thursday morning but returned safely to Malta International Airport.
Several flights have been delayed whild engineers work on the aircraft.
The airline said that flights from Malta to Rome, Zurich, Marseille, Brussels,Palermo and London Heathrow and back were affected.
