A 47-year-old motorcyclist is in critical condition after he was involved in an accident at about 6am in Hal Far Road, Birzebbuga.
Police say that there was a collision between an Opel Tigra driven by a 21 year-old man who resides in Birzebbuga and the motor bike.
A medical team was called on site and took the motorcyclist to Mater Dei Hospital for further medical treatment.
