Manchester City stole a march on their fierce rivals Utd with a 2-1 derby win at Old Trafford.
Kevin de Bruyne opened the scoring, Kelechi Iheanacho made it 2-0 as City threatened to completely over-run Utd.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic took advantage of a fumble by City’s keeper to give Utd hope just before the break but City held out to claim the three points in what was a thrilling Manchester derby.
The win puts City top of the Premiership for now and gives Pep Guardiolo the bragging rights over his old for Jose Mourinho.
