Gold for Sir Bradley as GB adds to medal tally

Cyclist Sir Bradley Wiggins became the first Briton to win eight Olympic medals as GB won three golds and three silvers on day seven in Rio.

The GB pursuit team set a world record to GB to third in the medal table.

There was another gold as rowers Heather Stanning and Helen Glover retained their Olympic title.

The men’s four won also gold and there were silver medals in dressage, trampolining and swimming.
