Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Health Chris Fearne this morning said that Malta would the a Covid-19 vaccine within days of it becoming available.
On Monday pharmaceutical company Pfizer and BioNTech announced they would have a vaccine ready by December following very positive tests.
Chris Fearne said that Malta was prepared and would have the vaccine within days of it being made available.
The European Union is close to singing a contract with Pfizer and BioNTech for 300 million doses of the vaccine.
