The Government of Malta pays tribute to the memory of Monsignor Victor Grech who left this world today at the age of 95 after a social work he carried out with great heart in our country. He will be given his last respects through a funeral that will be organised by the State.
The Government has taken the decision to organise the state funeral of Monsignor Grech in recognition of the extraordinary good that this man achieved, who in his life always saw that everyone deserved another opportunity to live a beautiful life.
Monsignor Victor Grech was the Founder of Caritas Malta and a person who showed great love for the most vulnerable people in our society.
The Office of the Prime Minister spoke with the family and those closest to Monsignor Victor Grech so that together with them the necessary arrangements can be made for the organisation of the funeral.
