Starting April 4th, workers will be entitled to up to 32 hours per year to deal with urgent family matters, up from the previous 15-hour limit. Junior Minister for Social Dialogue, Andy Ellull, announced the increase, stating it aims to improve work-life balance. Employees can take up to eight hours per day for four days each year. The changes reflect a push to provide more flexibility for workers facing family emergencies.
