Mohamed Ali Ahmem Elmushraty, known as Lilu King, has been re-arrested after the Court of Appeal revoked his bail.
The court ruled him ineligible due to his criminal history and repeated bail violations. Previously released under strict conditions, including a €30,000 deposit and a €100,000 guarantee, he was taken back into custody after Judge Edwina Grima sided with the Attorney General’s appeal.
Elmushraty faces serious charges, including organised crime, drug trafficking, and money laundering.
