The first deadly traffic accident of 2025 claimed the life of Alejandro Brincat, a 25-year-old Mtarfa resident and father of two children.
The incident happened in Triq l’Mdina H’Attard on Monday night at approximately quarter past nine.
Indications are that the driver slammed into a tree after losing control of his car.
The car ended up in a vertical position against a metal road sign.
Police, a medical team and members of the Civil Protection Unit were called to the scene.
