A drug smuggling operation at the Malta Freeport resulted in the seizure of 146 kilos of cocaine worth around €20 million and the arrest of four men aged between 36 and 46 years.
During the operation, a trailer under surveillance was halted, and after a search, 105 kilograms of cocaine were found hidden in its cabin. Further searches inside a trailer which was parked thereat, revealed another 41 kilograms of the same substance.
