A man was arrested after assaulting a number of police officers at the Sliema Police Station on Friday night.
The incident appears to have started when the man and his relative were being spoken to at the Police Station in connection with a report related to dangerous driving, when the man allegedly started becoming aggressive. Officers tried to calm the man down, however he refused to obey orders and assaulted them, causing grievous injuries to one of the police officers and slight injuries to two other police officers.
