Florida is bracing itself for a second hurricane to hit in the space of two weeks.

Hurricane Milton, a category 5, is expected to hit today or early Thursday morning.

Governor Ron De Santis warned residents that time is running out to evacuate as his office declared a state of emergency for some of the worst affected areas.

Florida is still clearing up from Hurricane Helene while residents in some areas are being told Hurricane Milton is not survivable.

President Biden has postponed a trip to Germany and Angola, saying this is expected to be the worst storm to hit Florida in a hundred years. “I just don’t think I can be out of the country at this time.”
