The Prime Minister Robert Abela met with Neil Agius, who last week set a world record for the longest swimming distance and broke his own world record.
Prime Minister Abela praised the initiative of Neil Agius and the courage he showed to carry out this swim around the Maltese islands. He said that the awareness that Neil Agius continued to raise and the way he gave strong visibility to our country, means a wonderful contribution to Malta.
At Castille, Neil Agius accompanied by those closest to him including his parents and the team that worked tirelessly for his cause through swimming, discussed the thoughts behind this initiative. Also present was the Minister for Education, Youth, Resources and Innovation Clifton Grima.
