The former Nationalist MP Karl Gouder has passed away at the age of 45, the Nationalist Party has announced.
His body was found in Valletta close to the former Customs House. The death is not being treated as suspicious.
Nationalist Party leader Bernard Grech announced his death on social media, offering his condolences to Karl Gouder’s family and asking that their privacy be respected.
Only last Sunday Karl announced his intention to run for General Secretary of the Nationalist Party after Michael Piccinino said he would be stepping down.
