Agreement signed that will strengthen tourism education between Malta and Japan

Minister for Tourism and Public Cleanliness Clayton Bartolo presides over the signing of an agreement between the Institute of Tourism Studies (ITS) and the Kobe International University Institute of Tourism Studies, Luqa
An agreement was signed through which the Institute for Tourism Studies (ITS) and the Kobe International University (KIU), which originates and operates from Japan, will offer a Bachelor’s degree course in International Hospitality Management.
This agreement allows students who are interested to enter this study program, to spend the first two years studying in Japan and the last two years in Malta. The program’s curriculum has been meticulously designed to introduce advanced learning, comprehensive coursework and hands-on training.
These details were announced during the signing of the said agreement chaired by the Minister for Tourism and Public Cleanliness Clayton Bartolo and Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of Japan in Malta Tadahiko Yamaguchi. The Minister for Tourism and Public Cleanliness Clayton Bartolo welcomed this agreement which is another link in a series of agreements through which the Institute for Tourism Studies is exporting its education around the world.
“The more we improve the level of courses offered by ITS, the more students we will have who, when they leave the same institution, will be our worthy ambassadors in the world of hospitality,” pointed out Minister Clayton Bartolo.
