Ramona Attard will not be standing for re-election as PL president when the party holds elections on September 13 and 14.

The Labour Party will be electing two deputy leaders but Attard said that she will not be contesting any other post.

In a Facebook post she announced her intention to stand down as she is “ready for a new challenge after four years in the party’s administration”.
