A man appeared in court on Friday charged with the attempted murder of a woman on a beach in St Julian’s on Wednesday.
Fabian Medina Paira, 21, a Columbian national with no fixed abode, was charged with attempted murder, grievous bodily harm, breach of the peace and being a vagrant.
The woman, who has not been named, suffered stab wounds to her chest.
