A fire broke out in an Enemalta substation in Gzira causing disruption to power supply in the area.
Enemalta said the incident happened at around 1pm in the substation in Triq Sir Patrick Stuart.
No injuries were reported and Civil Protection units were quickly on the scene to put out the fire.
Although power was quickly restored, around 300 people remained without electricity with Enemalta saying it was working to provide an alternative supply.
