The Minister for Gozo and Planning Clint Camilleri launched the “Summer in Gozo” programme which includes an extensive cultural calendar, spread over 13 weeks, with various activities spread around Gozo.
This vast cultural programme, which includes more than 130 activities and which is coordinated by the Directorate for Cultural Heritage within the Ministry for Gozo, thought to stage cultural, artistic and musical activities during all the days of the summer .
“These activities have not only become synonymous with Gozo during this particular period, but more than that, they are activities expected and sought by many,” said Minister Clint Camilleri.
He stated that through these activities people will not only be enjoying this program which contains a variety and selection of events, but will see the participation of local and international artists and will also give a boost local economy.
“Through these activities, I will be returning the squares in the heart of our villages, as we promised, to be enjoyed by the people who like to attend and this since many squares will be closed to traffic during the end the week”, said the minister.
