Malta’s U/21 claimed a fine 3-2 win over Moldova in their final qualifying game in the UEFA U/21 Championship.
Jean Borg fired Malta in front shortly before the break and Ryan Camenzuli made it 2-0 just before the whistle.
Moldova hit back with two second half goals but Joseph Mbong’s volley made sure of three points for Malta.
