Joint work between the Police of the Department of Criminal Investigations and Paola District, led to the arrest of a 21-year-old man from Ħal Tarxien, in connection with a robbery.
On Sunday, at around ten o’clock in the morning, police were called to a warehouse in Triq il-Ongi, Fgura.
From initial investigations it turned out that between Saturday and Sunday night, someone had broken down the warehouse door and stole a number of airsoft weapons, ammunition and other related items, costing thousands of euros.
Further investigations were carried out, the Police identified the alleged thief and the man was arrested on Monday morning at his his residence, where the stolen items were also found.
